What's the most weight you ever lost on a diet? What diet was it and how long did it take?

- In summer of 2005 I lost 17 pounds on my own. In July I started to get sick of being overwight and just like smokers quitting cold turkey, I decided that enough is enough and I have to lose weight. My goal was to lose 20 pounds so I got pretty close to it. Christmas 2005 I gained 3 pounds of it back but that's not too bad. This is what I did:. 1. No junk food, especially chips and french fries they are the worst for you. 2. No soda, they are full of sugar. I have a diet soda once in a while. Drink Water. 3. No white bread, I only eat whole wheat. No white rice or white pasta either. 4. Instead of junk food, every time you feel like snacking go for fruits and vegetables. This means you have to have them availbale at home all the time. When you are doing your grocery shopping just do not buy junk, if you do not have it you will not eat it. 5. I walk with my friend for 1 hour 3 times a week. 6. Never stay hungry, if you starve yourself you are more likely to eat whatever you get your hands on. Basically eat the right food instead of starving yourself. 7. Eat until you are satisfied not until you are about to explode. If you must have desert, eat sweet fruits. 8. do not eat late at night, stop eating about 2 hours before you go to bed. I brush my teeth about 8:00 pm that way I will not be tempted to eat after dinner. I have been folowing this diet since August 2005 and it is not difficult because I am never hungry. JUST GO FOR HEALTHY FOOD AND do not STUFF YOURSELF. My motivation was to stay healthy and live longer for my kids and also I weigh myself every morning before breakfast. Every morning I was losing 1 pound or 2. It felt so good that every day it motivated me to follow my diet so I can go on that scale in the morning and see myself lighter. Every time you think "this one will not hurt" remember :IT WILL. I know 2 friends who did the same diet. One lost 67 pounds and the other 45 pounds. They are the ones who motivated me
- Well I lost about 60 pounds in 2 and a half months. and I got to lose that quick by excersising every day by running about just one mile. and been on my bicycle for about 1 1 / 2 to 2 hours every single day straight for all that time period as well as drinking alot of water about one to one and a half gallons of water a day and also eating just vegetables only! no meats at all and cereal in the morning and at night with milk of course the same thing for all that time got me to lose weight extremely fast. I did not eat anything else than that no candy no soda no juice nothing just that. but all vegetables EXCEPT carrots and Potatoes! and all fruit but not too much of it. moslty a banana and apple every other day to have well sugar for your brain. and the cereal I had was Corn Flakes with no sugar added the reagular ones. I weighted 202 or so and got to be 150 so a about 52 ponds. In a way its bad to lose weight too quick sO I should of Excersice every other day no every day. and as well as I took about an hour a day or so to just relax lay down on the floor or at the park in the gr and just relax breath and relax my body cuz its something hard for your body to be used to many things and later to just eat the same stuff all the time. well thats me!
